  • Mapping real-world media use cases (e.g., live events, VOD libraries, contribution feeds, ad-supported streaming) to appropriate AWS Media Services and workflow patterns.
  • Explaining key AWS Media Services features and integrations (e.g., live encoding with MediaLive, packaging/origin with MediaPackage, transcoding with MediaConvert, ad insertion with MediaTailor, and storage with MediaStore/S3).
  • Identifying considerations for media workflow design, such as latency, quality of service, scalability, cost, security (e.g., DRM), and enhancements via AI/ML or analytics.
  • Articulating the advantages of cloud-based media solutions on AWS, including flexibility, global reach (via CloudFront), and reduced operational overhead compared to traditional hardware setups.
  • Develop a clear overview of AWS Media Services capabilities and how they solve common media challenges (e.g., scalable ingestion, transcoding, packaging, origination, and targeted ad insertion) without on-premises infrastructure.
  • Recognize suitable use cases and service combinations for building professional-grade video experiences, such as multiscreen delivery, broadcast-quality streaming, or content personalization.
  • Feel equipped to explore AWS Media Services further, discuss adoption with teams, or proceed to more specialized courses/labs in media workflows, supporting informed decisions for media companies, broadcasters, or content providers.
  • 45-minute digital course content with real-world examples, use case scenarios, service overviews, and high-level workflow diagrams (video-based or narrated, conceptual focus; no hands-on labs in this intro module).
  • Foundational-level training in the Media Services domain, suitable for media professionals, IT/business decision-makers, broadcasters, developers, or anyone exploring AWS for video workflows (no prerequisites; complements deeper courses like Video Streaming Essentials).
